Pick Up Games - Please Take My Survey
I'm doing research into the cultural significance of pick-up games - or, when friends get together and loosely organize a game of something. Your story doesn't have to be about baseball or football - it can be about kick the can, dodge ball, beating a tree with a stick - so long as you participated with friends, and there wasn't a ton of organization.
I was hoping to cajole you into contributing your stories - here's the URL for my online survey:
http://chnm.gmu.edu/tools/surveys/form/343.
I hope you'll pay it a visit, and share your experiences. But wait, there's more...
I'm also looking for folks who might be willing to go beyond the online survey, and sit down with me for a one-hour interview in which they can describe their pick-up games in more detail. If you, or someone you know, is a likely candidate, please contact me ASAP, so that I can set up a time that works for all concerned.
Many, many thanks for your help. I should also note that you are under no obligation to take part one way or the other.
We now return you to your regularly scheduled program.
